270 Strategies Announces Addition of Lucas Fleischer as Creative Director

WASHINGTON, DC – 270 Strategies today announced the hiring of Lucas Fleischer, who will serve as the firm’s Creative Director. Fleischer joins the digital team at 270 Strategies, led by partner Betsy Hoover, and will direct all creative work including website design and development, branding and visual identity, and video production. He most recently served as the Digital Director of the Democratic National Committee, where he managed a team of email writers, social media experts, developers and designers supporting President Obama and Democrats across the country. 270 Strategies’ current portfolio includes helping to lead digital and grassroots organizing efforts for Battleground Texas and Ready for Hillary.

“Lucas is the best in the business and a tremendous addition to our team as Creative Director,” said Hoover. “He brings more than 10 years experience as a creative and digital expert and will be an asset in helping our clients achieve their goals. We are thrilled to have him on board.”

As Digital Director for the DNC, Fleischer quarterbacked the creation of RomneyTaxPlan.com, which Business Insider called "ingenious" and Slate called the “cleverest presidential campaign ad you'll see online." As Creative Director for Organizing for America and the DNC, Fleischer led the overhaul of the Democrats' brand and the creative work of both OFA and the DNC during the fight for health care reform and the 2010 midterm elections. In 2008, Fleischer served as the Ohio Director of New Media for President Obama’s campaign, where he conceived of the widely popular Barns for Obama campaign.

Fleischer will be based in Washington, DC.
