As a Senior Strategist at the digital agency R/GA, Abby provided social media and digital expertise to major global brands including Capital One, Airbnb, and the National Cattlemen's Beef Association. During President Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign, she served as a Social Media Strategist and managed several of the campaign's high-profile social media accounts, including the official Obama 2012 Twitter account, as well as Vice President Joe Biden's Facebook and Twitter accounts. Abby started her career in magazine editing and publishing, where she developed cross-platform marketing strategies for well-known lifestyle publications.
Abby has a master's degree in International Politics from the University of California San Diego and an undergraduate degree in journalism from NYU. She speaks Spanish fluently and is passionate about wildlife conservation, sustainable food practices, and proper spelling and grammar. In her free time, Abby loves to cook, visit her family in Montana, and check out zoos and aquariums all over the world. She lives in Chicago with her husband, Jeff, and their small and needy cat.
