Alina Hooper is a Digital Associate with 270 Strategies. She joins the team after most recently working as a paralegal with Morrison Cohen LLP in New York. She previously held positions with the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University School of Law, the New York City Department of Education, and the United Nations International Civil Service Commission. Alina first became passionate about politics while volunteering in New Hampshire for President Obama’s 2008 campaign and seeing firsthand the power of grassroots organizing.
Alina graduated from Harvard College with a B.A. in History. A recent Chicago transplant, she has quickly grown to love the city, and enjoys exploring the Art Institute, going to Bulls games (Derrick Rose is a national treasure), and trying out as many restaurants as possible.
