Sarah Driscoll is a Senior Email Strategist with 270 Strategies. She joins the team after most recently running the digital program for the United Nations Foundation’s advocacy arm, where she managed email outreach, social media accounts, and web platforms to connect more Americans with the life-saving work of the UN. As a senior member of the Obama for America email team in 2012, Sarah helped raise more than half a billion dollars online.
During the 2012 campaign, Sarah helped lead fundraising strategy, testing, and writing, as well as online organizing efforts on the regional and state level. She managed multiple email programs to engage key groups of supporters, including national mobilization to recruit volunteers, grassroots fundraising to encourage supporters to raise money for the President, and the online call tool that resulted in a record-breaking number of get-out-the-vote calls on Election Day.
Prior to the campaign, Sarah worked in online communications at Women Thrive Worldwide, a nonprofit organization that brings the voices of women around the world to decision-makers in Washington, DC. She developed her love for organizing and advocacy right out of college through the Environment America fellowship program.
A die-hard Boston sports fan, Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tufts University and is from a small town in Vermont that has no stoplights and boasts one of the country’s last operating drive-in movie theaters. She loves snowboarding, hiking, and spending time with her family’s dog -- appropriately named after the one and only Tom Brady.
